The 14th Charity Wine & Golf Cup took place on June 28, 2025!

The 14th Trattlerhof Charity Wine & Golf Cup, which took place from June 27 to 29, 2025, was a complete success with a new record sum of € 9,300. The event in the picturesque alpine scenery of Carinthia offered a unique combination of sporting challenge, culinary enjoyment and social commitment for the benefit of the SOS Children's Village Moosburg.

Guests unite to honor charitable achievements at the Trattlerhof Charity Wine & Golf Cup.

Trattlers Hofleute & the Forstnig family once again delighted participants this year with wine tastings from renowned Austrian winegrowers, delicious cuisine at the Hotel GUT Trattlerhof and the Trattlers Einkehr mountain hut restaurant, fashion tips from Römermoden and a large wine and rarities auction. The Trattlerhof was supported by the Kleine Zeitung newspaper, the Morandell wine shop, the Sophienwald wine glass producer and many partners from the region.

"We are delighted that a proud sum of € 9,300 was raised for the children this year," emphasizes Jakob Forstnig, hotelier of the Hotel GUT Trattlerhof. This sum was handed over to Mag. Dieter Wallner, representative of the SOS Children's Village Moosburg, by the organizers on Saturday evening.

This picturesque gathering enhances the enjoyment of fine wine amidst the serenity of nature.

Wine tastings from the wineries Hudelist (Carinthia), Keringer (Burgenland), Schloss Gobelsburg (Lower Austria) and Horst Wild (Carinthian Winegrowers' Association) from fine hand-blown glasses from Sophienwald rounded off the evenings and the award ceremony. The guests were treated to culinary delights by the team from Hotel GUT Trattlerhof and Trattlers Einkehr. Delicious slow food specialties accompanied by fine wines from the winegrowers were on the menu.

Edmar Allitsch (Golfclub Bad Kleinkirchheim - Kaiserburg) won the men's event and Karin Fritz (Golfclub Bad Kleinkirchheim - Kaiserburg) won the women's event.

Other participants included notary Mag. Dieter Wallner (SOS Children's Village), ski emperor Franz Klammer, national ice hockey team players Thimo Nickel and Kilian Zündel, KAC coach Kirk Furey and British Blind Open winner Christian Wakonig.
