Moments of contemplation in the pre-Christmas period!

The days are getting shorter and the nights are getting longer, the seductive scent of baked apples, gingerbread and hot spiced wine let you feel cozy and comfy.

Christmas is just arround the corner and the quietest time of the year has arrived! Ejoy quiet moments in the Christmas village, relax in the thermal water and ski down the slopes from December 7th.

Opening hours Advent market

If you want to escape the hustle and bustle in the city and the everydaylife in the run-up to Christmas, Bad Kleinkirchheim is the perfect place for you!

From 30 November to 23 December Advent at "Kirchheim" is opening it´s doors every saturday (and also on 8 december) from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and transforms Bad Kleinkirchheim the spa park opposite the St. Kathrein Family & Health Spa into a romantic winter village!

Advent path

On our "Advent path" you will find peace, calm an tranquility! This lovingly designed path takes you past the advent windows from the park to the church St. Kathrein! Every Saturday and also on 8 December, a solemn mass with musical accompaniment is held here to proclaim the peaceful message of Christmas. Every Friday, a torchlight walk along the Kirchheimer Bach sets the mood for the approaching festivities.

Handicraft & Culinary

Get inspired by the exhibitors with traditional handicrafts at the stands at the Kurpark! From treasures of wood craftmanship, through creative jewelery to lovingly designed decoration elements - perfect presents for you and your loved ones!

Enjoy the regional cuisine -christmas biskuits, mulled vine, the traditional "Christmas Krainer" (sausage) or chestnuts are waiting for you to try!

Enjoy a pre-christmas break while the kids do their laps on the ice skating rink or take a walk with lamas!

Winemakers on the mountains

Star vintners from the most famous wine-growing regions of Austria also come to us in winter for a very special "summit meeting" at the Trattlerhof in Bad Kleinkirchheim. With our "Winemaker on the mountain" series of events, selected top wineries from Austria are the focus of culinary pleasure weekends.

In "Trattles Einkehr" a tasting menu awaits you comprising Carinthian delicacies coordinated with the accompanying wines.

Spa special TWIN Pack

After an active winter day, “Thermal spa enjoyment times TWO" awaits you: Bad Kleinkirchheim has two thermal baths! The water expanse in the St. Kathrein thermal bath is regularly transformed into a sea of candles during Advent. Swimming in candlelight and finding peace with Advent meditations is balm for the soul. In the Römerbad thermal baths, the spacious sauna area invites you to relax. Simply pure enjoyment.
