GENERAL TRAVEL TERMS & CANCELLATION POLICIES

The operations of our hotel happen with special behaviour- and COVID-19 hygiene measures in order to preserve the health of our guests and employees. 

For all new and existing bookings we have relaxed our cancellation policy relating to Corona: 

"Carefree travelling": In case of new travel restrictions which make a trip or stay impossible (risk warning level 6 / border closing / government imposed quarantine), a free of charge cancellation is possible any time. 
A rebooking, a conversion of your pre-payment into a deposit for a future stay or a refund of your pre-payment is possible. 

Please kindly note that for travellers coming from over 30 countries to Austria, the Austrian government has issues a travel warning. Please kindly ensure to inform yourself about the current rules for your country of destination, as you would be required to show a negative COVID-19 test when crossing the border into Austria. Link to list of countries with COVID-19 travel warning by the Austrian ministry of Foreign Affairs (currently only available in German).

In case your require a COVID-19 test for your return or for crossing the border into your home country, we can support you in obtaining such a test at the facilities of our local doctors or local test center (PCR test results within approx. 24 hours, rapid antigen test results within 15 minutes, at own costs).

Relaxed cancellation policiy (independent of Covid-19 related cases which are outlined above)

Until 30 days before arrive: cancellation free of charge
Until 14 days before arrival: 70 % of the total costs;
Until 7 days before arrival: 90 % of the total costs;
late arrival or early departure: 100% of the total costs

NEW: we recommend to take out a travel insurance with the European Travel Insurance company (www.europaeische.at), which also covers cancellations and abruption of trips based on a COVID-19 infection. Link to your insurance policy: LINK
Please note that a COVID-19 infection which was not insured is not a reason for a cost-free cancellation.

Generally in case of a reservation at the Hotel Trattlerhof the general terms and conditions for the Austrian hotel industry shall apply.

The general cancellation policy for your stay with us are as follows:

Until 30 days before arrival: free of charge
Until 14 days before arrival: 50% of the total price
Until 7 days before arrival: 70% of the total price
From 7 - 1 days before arrival: 90% of the total price
Late arrival or early departure: 100% of the total price

Cancellation costs are independet of the fact of the cancelled rooms have been rented out alternatively (entirely or partially). 
The withdrawal right according to § 11 Abs 1 FAAG does not apply.

We guarantee your booking after a down payment of 25 % of the total price of your stay!

Hotel Trattlerhof: At arrival your room will be available starting from 3 pm. We kindly ask to vacate your room until 11 am on the day of your departure.

Trattlers Hof-Chalets: Check in starting from 4 pm, check-out until 10 am on the day of departure.

All prices in the hotel are per person and per night and include half board, use of our wellness programme and facilities, the hotel's sport offers and animation programme.

Prices in the Chalet are per sleeping room and night excluding food and final cleaning.
