Details of the route

The marathon starts directly from the Bike Village at the Kaiserburg valley station. The highlight of the event is the 35-kilometre-long panoramic route through the Nockberge National Park, featuring the stunning alpine landscape and the two challenging mountain stages: Schiestelscharte (2,045 meters above sea level) and Eisentalhöhe (2,038 meters above sea level).

Timekeeping will only take place at the following three mountain stages (26.7 km / 1,806 meters altitude in total). The participant with the best overall mountain time will be crowned "Champ of the Nockis":

- Entrance Nockalmstrasse – Schiestelscharte (12.2 km, 895 metres in altitude)
- Grundalm – Eisentalhöhe (6.3 km, 536 metres in altitude)
- Radenthein – Bad Kleinkirchheim (8.2 km, 375 metres in altitude)

The finish line is again in Bad Kleinkirchheim at the foot of the Kaiserburg!

The entire route must be completed by bike! This will be chip-monitored in the neutral parts of the course! An average speed will also be determined on these sections! This will also be verified!
